James Donald Robinson age 81 of Wolfe City, Texas passed away on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 in Commerce. He was born on September 25, 1934 in Gober, Texas to Clarence William and Dorothy Grace Hyser Robinson. He married Carmas Edith Malone on February 11, 1955 in Wolfe City.

Mr. Robinson was a member of Turkey Creek Church of Christ. He was a residential and commercial carpenter for many years.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years Connie Robinson, five children; Steven Reed Robinson and wife Barbara of Wolfe City, Leanna Gail Lincycomb and husband Chris of Greenville, Joel Rory Robinson and wife Lisa of Wolfe City, and Casey Todd Robinson of Wolfe City, seven grandchildren; Amanda Lynne, Mindy Rae, Jade Kelly, Jill Emily, Jacy Paige, Jared Evan, Regan Kaci, seven great-grandchildren; Andrew Steven, Summer Rae, Garrett James, Parker Paige, Karsyn Isabella, Katlyn and Matthew.

Funeral services will be held at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, May 6, 2016 with Robert Watson officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Jason Ebert, Jared Robinson, Mark Malone, Andrew Holt, Garrett Villarreal and Chris Lincycomb serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.
