Jimmie LaVerne Venner , age 93, passed away a Tender Care Colonial Lodge in Greenville Monday, June 24, 2019.  She was born to Jim and Ruth Taylor on February 17, 1926 in Wolfe City.

Jimmie graduated from Wolfe City High School in 1943 and worked for Raytheon until she retired.  She loved bowling and golf, going every opportunity she had.  She also loved her four legged friends – the cats and dogs that brought so much joy to her life.

Jimmie married Ralph C. Venner in Wolfe City.  She is survived by Debbie and Steve Camfield and Rockey Tiffee.  She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.

There will be a private graveside service at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City 10:00 A.M. Thursday, June 27, 2019.
