October 9, 1958 –  April 5, 2014

Joe Morris Parsons Jr., 55, passed from this life on April 5, 2014 at his home in Greenville.  Joe Jr. was born October 9, 1958, in Ladonia to Joe Morris Parsons and Nancy Watson Parsons.  Joe Jr. was a skilled mechanic who could fix anything he set his mind to.  At an early age he would fix his and his brother’s toys even his dad’s lawn mower.  Joe Jr. graduated from Royse City High School and pursued a career as a mechanic.   He was a member of First Baptist Church in Royse City. 

Joe Jr.  is survived by his parents, Joe and Nancy Parsons of Wolfe City; sister and brother-in-law Jerry and Robin Boggs, brother Greg Parsons, daughter Misty Brown, son John Adam Parson,  and two grandchildren. He is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 8, 2014 6 to 8 P.M. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.  

A funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 9, 2014 at First Baptist Church in Wolfe City at 2:00 P.M.  Interment will follow at Mt Carmel Cemetery.
