Joyce Kathrine Cashion age 70 of Wolfe City, Texas died on Monday, December 8, 2014 at her home. She was born on October 25, 1944 in Santa Monica, California to Robert and Madeline Virginia Voorhis Garrett.

Mrs. Cashion was of the Baptist Faith and a homemaker for many years.

Survivors are her fiancé John Staggs of Wolfe City, two daughters Kathy Dotson of Bailey, and Nancy Janice Mills of Lancaster, 8 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by parents, daughter Debora Hernandez and son Bobby Chitty.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 13, 2014 at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel with Brother Larry Morris officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with John Dotson, Rodney Miller, Clemente Hernandez, Curlee Simmons, Roy Andrews, and Jason Ebert serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.
