Judy Ann Sherril of Wolfe City, passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, May 17, 2019. She was born to Tom and Rose Watson Elder in Greenville, April 21, 1947.
Judy married Tommy Sherrill, November 19, 1982 in Hugo, Ok. She and Tommy were active members of Harvest Bible Church in Cash. She graduated from Monument Valley High School in Kayenta, AZ. Judy loved children and spent many years making sure the students of Wolfe City schools were fed properly because she worked in food service for the Wolfe City Independent School District.
Judy is survived by her husband, Tommy, daughters; Jennifer Sisco of Wolfe City, April Donahue and significant other Ray Garner of Denison, and Son Patrick Donahue of Denison. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Cory Mcelwrath and wife Amy of Wolfe City, Calla Goodwin of Wolfe City, Krista McElwrath of Wolfe City, Pat Donahue of Wolfe City, Thomas Donahue of Greenville, Tommy Donahue of Denison, and Annabelle Donahue of Denison, and 8 great-grandchildren. Judy has four surviving siblings: Tim Elder, Tina Farr, Kayla Phillips, and Becky Singleton, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and other family members. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Pallbearers will be Ray Garner, Jeremy Chester, Tony Jenkins, Jason Holmes, Carlon Stapleton, and Cory McElwrath. Honorary pallbearers will be Samuel Goodwin, Rustic McElwrath, and Raylan McElwrath.
Visitation will be Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at Owens Funeral Chapel In Wolfe City. The funeral will be Monday, May 20, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. At Owens Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow at Pecan Gap Cemetery in Pecan Gap.

I am so sorry for yalls loss..you all will be in my thoughts and prayers…I always remember working with me in the lunchroom…she was always fun to work with…I know some of the grandkids I really know l more than the other grandkids and it is Calla…I lived Calla spending time at my house with Karen. I have always loved you calla…you are very special to me….you will be in my thoughts and prayers….

So sad to hear of Judy’s passing. Rarely did we get to see each other but it was always nice to see her sweet smile.
