January 26, 1987 –  December 27, 2015 Murphy,
Justin Michael Dewayne Murphy age 28 of Wolfe City passed away on Sunday, December 28, 2015 in Greenville, Texas. He was born in Greenville on January 26, 1987 to Rodney McFail and Vanessa Murphy Johnson.

Justin was a member of Yeager Chapel CME in Wolfe City and he graduated from Wolfe City High School in 2006. J-Bird as he was known by his family and friends, was a loving and caring father to his son De’Aunte and will be greatly missed by his Mother and family.

Those left to cherish his memories are his mother Vanessa Johnson of Wolfe City, son De’Aunte Reshad Dossey of Leonard, brother Adrian Shaw of Denver, Colorado, step-mother Theodore McFail of Ladonia, grandmothers Mary Frances and Nelly Brown both of Wolfe City, great-grandmother Hazel McFail of Honey Grove and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Special friends Jazmine Dossey of Leonard, Steven Lemons of Wolfe City, Chandra Hyden of Greenville, Kelby Dawson of Wolfe City, and Trey Stephson of Terrell, Derrick Relford of Sherman and many friends.

He is preceded in death by his father, two brothers, five aunts, three uncles, two grandfathers, a great-grandmother, and two great-grandfathers.

Visitation will be held on Friday, January 1, 2016 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Saturday, January 2, 2015 at First Baptist Church Wolfe City with Rev. Melva Hill officiating.

Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel West Cemetery in Wolfe City with Stanley “Mack” Murphy, Jason Alexander, Andre Alexander, Nelson Armstrong, Chad Brown and Dennis Brown serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Stanley Williams, Stepen Lemons, Zach Armstrong, Bubba Armstrong, Brandon Titus, Jaylon Wortham and Derrick Relford.
