February 17, 1924 –  October 9, 2015 Brandenburg,
Kenneth P. Brandenburg passed away Friday, October 9, 2015 at the wise age 91. Ken was formerly of Dallas, TX but had recently relocated to Commerce, TX to be near family. He was born and graduated high school in Casey, IL.

After serving a tour of duty in the U.S. Navy, he returned home and completed his college degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Illinois. He spent his entire 35 year professional career with Atlantic Richfield Company in Dallas, TX and was an active member of the Saint Mark Presbyterian Church for almost 50 years. Ken was a devoted Father and Grandpa. He enjoyed spending time with his family, walking with his friends, and was known to knock out a crossword puzzle in no time. He often had something clever to say, and the holidays will not be the same without his “punkin” pie. He will be greatly missed.

Surviving family members are his daughter, Kathy Hill and husband, Bobby Hill, of Commerce, TX; his grandson, Robert Hill of Houston, TX; his granddaughter, Jennafer Ward and husband, Scott Ward, of Rockwall, TX; Kay Shepard and Dylan Crowell of Austin, TX, sister Norma Denney of MI, brother Bill Brandenburg of IL, and niece Elaine Beasley of CA.

Graveside services will be held at Restland Cemetery in Dallas, TX at 10:00 am on Saturday, October 17, 2015.
