Lillian Faye Allgood, age 90, passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville on Saturday, June 3, 2017. She was born to Milford and Maud Smith Stailey December 28, 1926 in Wolfe City. She married Lenard Leroy Allgood in Bonham on January 8, 1956.
Lillian worked as a seamstress in Greenville and retired from Sherwood manufacturing in Commerce. She was a longtime member of West Main Church of Christ in Wolfe City. She was a devout Christian and was a servant of the Lord every waking hour in thought and deed. To know her was to love her.

There is a comfort in knowing she is with all of her loved ones who have gone before her. She will be greatly missed by the number of surviving nieces, nephews, and cousins who remain.

The funeral service will be conducted by A. C. Quinn at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, June 8, 2017 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with visitation one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
