July 27, 1921 –  January 12, 2015 Swindell,
Margaret Elizabeth Swindell age 93 of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Monday, January 12, 2015 in Mesquite. She was born in the White Rock Community of Hunt County near Wolfe City on July 27, 1921 to Jack and Eula Cody Barker. She married Archie Moman Swindell in Hugo, Oklahoma on March 10, 1938.

Mrs. Swindell was of the Baptist Faith, a homemaker, loving mother, and grandmother. She will be greatly missed by all her family.

Survivors are daughters Betty Darlene Henry of Mesquite, and Lana Jean Allard of Dallas, seven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandson and Mary Jane Hart her only surviving sister.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband and three brothers Jackson Barker, Joe Preston Barker, and Lindle Barker.

A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 16, 2015 at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Brother Larry Morris officiating. Visitation will be held on hour prior to the start of the service.
