Maudine Peterson Turner age 89 of Weatherford, Texas died on Friday, December 20, 2013 at the Santa Fe Health and Rehab in Weatherford. She was born on October 17, 1924 in Buffalo, Texas to George C. and Maggie Vann Peterson. She married Dorsey C. Turner on January 28, 1944 in Ft. Worth, Texas

She was a member of Aberfoyle Baptist Church and homemaker.

She is survived by her three children Janice Butler and husband Dale, Stanley Turner and wife Sandy, and Steven Turner and wife Kathy, grandchildren Bryan Butler, Angie Moore, Jason Turner, Daniel Turner, Jarrod Turner, Brent Turner, Blake Turner, Shelly Abbott and 12 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, two sisters and three brothers.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2013 at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Wolfe City at 2:00 P.M. with Bro. Kerry Meadors officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with grandsons Bryan Butler, Jason Turner, Daniel Turner, Jarrod Turner, Brent Turner, and Blake Turner serving as pallbearers.
