June 20, 1932 –  February 21, 2015 Pugh,
Melessie Mozell Scarborough Pugh, 82 years old went to be with our Lord on February 21, 2015. Mrs. Pugh was born on June 20, 1932 in the Hickory Creek community, near Wolfe City, to Delmo Hubert and Melessie Laurentine Keller Scarborough. She was a member of the Christian Life Church and a graduate of Celeste High School.

She is survived by three daughters, Alita and husband Joseph Earl Newland of Quitman, Texas, Brenda and Randy Livingston of Denison, Texas, Barbara and Gary Clifton of Wolfe City, Texas; two sons, David Earl Pugh, Jr. and wife Kim of Goshen, IN., Ronald Pugh of Princeton, Texas, 16 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren, brother, Charles and wife Carolyn Scarborough, three sisters; Nellie Walls of Dublin, Texas, Loann Lindsey of Greenville, Texas, Elaine and husband Barney Walker of Elkhart, Texas, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by parents, three sisters, three brothers, daughter; Linda Gail Daniel, and son; Jimmy Clayton Pugh.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 P. M., Wednesday, and February 25, 2015 in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Bro. Charles Scarborough and Bro. Barney Walker. Burial will follow in the McWright Cemetery near Kingston, Texas. Pallbearers will be: Shawn Newland, Jason Newland, Nathan Pugh, Joshuah Pugh, Joseph Armstrong and Brady Clifton; Honorary Pallbearer Carl Harrell. Visitation will be at the Funeral Home one hour prior to Service time.
