Michael Lee Davis age 61 of Wolfe City, Texas passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 22, 2016. He was born on January 15, 1955 in Greenville, Texas to Howard Dewey and Frances Marie Ricketts Davis.

He was a member of First Baptist Church in Wolfe City and the owner and operator of Davis Trucking.

Michael is survived by his fiance Sandy Watson of Wolfe City, three children; Heath Davis and wife Shannon of Wolfe City, Diana Hester and husband Rickey of Mississippi, and Jamie Humbarger and husband Todd of Prosper, ten grandchildren; Blayke, Kassi, and Braylon Hester, Gage, Kate Ansleigh, and Henleigh Humbarger, HD Davis, Bailey, Morgan, and Lane Goodman, parents Frances and Howard Davis, two brothers Timmy Davis and wife Molly, Steve Davis and wife Beckie all of Wolfe City, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Tim Hearn and Michael White officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with Russell Brown, Mike Bunch, Joe Swinson, Danny Gardner, Carlos Ugalde, Mark Bussell, Blayke Hester and Lloyd Ray serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Keith Herron, Marvin Bailey and Richard Crockett.
