February 5, 1951 –  April 30, 2011 Monty Derel Millsap age 60 of Brashear, Texas passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011 in Sulphur Springs, Texas after a year battle with cancer. He was the youngest child born to Jereald Millsap and Ruby Louise Sanders Millsap of Dallas, Texas on February 5, 1951. Monty lived for a number of years in California, and like telling stories about the many places he had been. He was an avid motorcycle rider and had a large collection of bikes. Often times Monty could be found repairing and tuning his motorcycles. Music and playing the guitar were a big part of his personality. At parties and get togethers it didn’t take much for him to pull out his guitar and start singing. Monty was a truck driver and he enjoyed being able to travel and meet people. He is survived by his two brothers, Larry Dean Millsap and wife Sylvia of Cumby, and Johnny Millsap of Campbell, and many cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by both of his parents.
