Norris “Boots” Easley, 99, of Aberfoyle, went to be with his Savior on January 31, 2014. Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. on Monday,February 3, 2014 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City with Bro. Kerry Meador officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.

Boots was born August 27, 1914 in Celeste. He was the son of the late Richard and Elizabeth Rutz Easley. He married Martha Jane Fox October 16, 1937 and they lived in the Aberfoyle Community for 72 years. Boots was a deacon at Aberfoyle Baptist Church. His greatest loves were his family, taking care of his cattle and farm and going to church.

Boots was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Martha Jane,
infant daughter, Barbara, Son, Jimmie and daughter, Kay. Boots was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister. He was so loved and will be missed by his family, son and his wife, Jerry and Sandy Easley, son-in-law, Jimmy Bowman and daughter and her husband, Becky and Pepper Mackie; grandchildren, Terry Bowman, Marc and Janna Easley, Craig and Lucy Easley, Tracy and James Owens, Shane and Collyn
Manning, ten great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Pallbearers will be grandsons and son-in-law, Pepper Mackie.
