July 24, 1935 –  February 3, 2011 O. Corena “Nannie” Lowe, 75, of the Aberfoyle community died Feb. 3, 2011, at Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville following a short illness. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Aberfoyle Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Kerry Meadors officiating. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery with family members serving as pallbearers.
Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. today at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.

Daughter of Robert Jack and Bertha Mae Fortenberry Freeman, she was born July 24, 1935, in Blunt County, Ala. On May 22, 1955, she married J.B. Lowe in Dallas. She was a retired nanny and was a member of Aberfoyle Baptist Church.

Surviving are four daughters, Bertha Wynell Harris of Greenville, Cathy Ann Spurlock of Commerce, Sherry Gean Dell of Dallas and Wanda Gail Lowe of Richland Hills; a son, Alvin Ray Lowe of Ruidoso, N.M.; 17 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchild; one sister, Shirley Delores Lowe of Queen City; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband J.B. Lowe, and sons Jay Lowe and Woody Lee Lowe.
