July 19, 1944 – November 29, 2010 Ima Pearl Mankin, 90, of Wolfe City died Nov. 28, 2010, at Hunt Regional Community Hospital of Commerce following a lengthy illness. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Al Clark of Commerce officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Daughter of John Loman and Mildred Decker Watkins, she was born May 23, 1920, in Quinlan. She married Victor Birch Mankin on Sept. 13, 1941, in Greenville; he preceded her in death. She was an Intercontinental Aircraft parts inspector.
Survivors include two daughters, Brenda Cheryl Moon and husband Hurley Ray and Julia Ann Faulkner; son-in-law Thomas Wesley Faulkner; two sisters, Anna Warren and Mary Sifuentes; five grandchildren, William Guy Faulkner and wife Sundee, Kenneth Darrell Faulkner and special friend Carolyn Bishop, Kristin Cheryl Elmore and husband Jason and Shelly Ray Moon and Mildred Mankin; great-grandchildren Mallory Faulkner and fiancé Wendell Lee, Clinton Faulkner, Hunter Dickson, Chelsea Elmore, Brandi Elmore, Amber Faulkner and Kali Cheryl Wooten; a great-great-granddaughter, Ava Madisyn Lee; and several nieces and nephews.
