February 23, 1939 –  February 21, 2017 Peter Eugene Weiss, 77, of Commerce, Tx. and the South Sulphur Community, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 21st, 2017 at his residence. Mr. Weiss was born on Feb. 23rd, 1939 in Czechoslovakia to Alexander and Blanka Ross Weiss. He married Dianna Fay Fleming on Sept. 3rd, 1966 in Kermit, Tx. And worked and retired as a senior social worker with the Juvenile Court of Orange County California. Mr. Weiss was a member of the Congregational Beth El Temple in Tyler, Tx.
Survivors are his wife, one son; David Weiss and wife Corinne of Colorado Springs, Co. and two grandchildren, Aviva and Micah.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City conducted by Rabbi Neal Katz.

The family request donations be made to the Commerce Animal Shelter in Commerce, Tx.
