January 18, 1944 –  January 1, 2011 Bagby,
Richard Dale Bagby, 66, of Celeste died Jan. 1, 2011, at Presbyterian Hospital of Dallas. Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Step of Faith Worship Center, 193 FM 547 in Farmersville with Matthew Bagby officiating. There will be a 3:30 p.m. graveside service Wednesday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City with military honors provided by the Hunt County Veterans Honor Guard.

Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.

Pallbearers will be Larry Bagby, Steve Parks, Randell Sims, Mark Sims, James Crafton and James Hall.

Dale is the son of Joseph Virgil and Judith Marie Abernathy Bagby, he was born Jan. 18, 1944, in Wolfe City. On Aug. 26,1964, he married Donna Crafton in Rowlett. Mr. Bagby served in the U.S. Army National Guard and worked as a machinist at TI for 31 years. He was a member of the Kingdom of God by virtue of his faith in Jesus Christ as the Son of God and his personally requesting Christ to come into his heart, and his earthly membership was at Branch Baptist Church in Branch, Texas.

Survivors are his wife of Celeste; daughters and sons-in-law Wendy and James Hall and Angela and Rodney Clark; grandchildren JimmyDale Ray Reed, Thomas Virgil Jean Reed, Randy Clark Owen and Ernest Joe Ray Clark; his mother, Judith Bagby Howard; brothers Larry Bagby and Stephen Bagby; a sister, Cathy Crane; and many nieces and nephews.
