Richard “Ricky” Wayne Jones Jr. passed away on Monday, January 29, 2024 at his home in Ladonia, Texas at the age of 63. He was born in Bonham, Texas on November 12, 1960 to parents, Richard Wayne Jones and Wanetha (Proffer) Jones.

Richard is survived by his wife of 7 years, Susan Jones of Ladonia, Texas, her children, John Alan Myers and his wife Sadie, and Aaron Myers and his wife Amanda. His siblings, Karen Pickard and her husband Ed, and John Jones and his wife Karen, his Mother, Wanetha (Proffer) Jones, nieces and nephews, Lyndsay McKnight and her husband Drew, Katie Pickard and her wife Dana, Chad Jones and his wife Meagan, Jonathan Jones and his wife Danielle, Tripp Hemphill and Haylee Goode. Richard is also survived by his beloved dog, Peanut.

Richard is preceded in death by his father, Richard Wayne Jones.

A visitation will be held at Ladonia First Baptist Church at 1:00pm. The Funeral Service will start at 2:00pm at the Church, with the burial following out at the Ladonia Cemetery. Officiating the service is Pastor David Howard. Pallbearers are:  Chad Jones, Lawerence Goode, John Alan Myers, Aaron Myers, Dustin Myers and Jonathan Myers.
