Rickie Joe Payne, 64, of Arlington passed away Monday, June 18, 2018 at his residence.  Mr. Payne was born on March 31, 1954 in Dallas to Joe Frank Payne, Jr. and Margaret Lanell Standford Payne.  He married Shirley Sallee on June 13, 1975 in Wolfe City.  Mr. Payne worked for Yellow Freight.

He is survived by his wife Shirley (Lou) Payne, Son, Billie Joe Payne & wife Jaimie of Mansfield, two grandsons; Brendyn & Brice Payne; mother, Margaret Hamlin; Siblings, Linda King & husband Dick of Commerce, John Payne of Irving, Joanna Howard & husband Jimmy of Winnsboro.  He was preceded in death by a brother Roy Cabaniss and his father Joe Payne, Jr.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P. M., Thursday, June 21, 2018 at the Chapel in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, conducted by Pastor Brent Grissom, visitation will be from 1:00 P.M. until service time at the Mt. Carmel Cemetery Chapel.  Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
