September 29, 1922 – October 26, 2014 St. Clair, Robert Claud “RC” St. Clair age 92 of White Rock passed away quietly at his home on with his family at his bedside on Sunday, October 26, 2014. Robert was born September 29, 1922 in Greenville, Texas to Ellis and Pearl Kilmer St. Clair. He was the youngest of five children. He attended Greenville public schools.
Mr. St. Clair served his country during WWII in the United States Army as a member of the 552nd AAA Bn. in the European Theater where he received the Purple Heart.
He married Ruth Nell Holloway on September 8, 1946 in the White Rock Community north of Greenville. Together they had three sons, Robert Randall, James Alan, and David Earl.
He worked as a truck driver and after a move to Houston, Texas he worked in the oil and gas industry. After retirement, he and Ruth moved back to the White Rock community, where he enjoyed gardening and carpentry and raising livestock.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings, son Robert Randall and the love of his life Ruth Nell.
A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2014 at 1:00 P.M. at East Mount Cemetery in Greenville, Texas. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas.
