Robert Gayle Carrigan, age 53of Wolfe City, Texas passed away on Monday, March 9, 2015 at Baylor Medical Center of Dallas. He was born on March 20, 1961 in Dallas, Texas to Howard Eugene and Edith Loraine Manning Carrigan.

Robert was a member of Cross Trails Cowboy Church in Fairlie, Texas. He worked for many years for the City of Dallas, as a groundskeeper at DFW International Airport. He was a loving father, grandfather, son, and uncle.

He is survived by four children; Laura McCaw and husband Carlton, Robert Lee Carrigan, Jeremy James Carrigan, and Weston Kyle Carrigan, 6 grandchildren; Kaydence McCaw, Becka Carrigan, CJ McCaw, Jade Carrigan, Olivia Carrigan, Karleigh McCaw, mother Edith Loraine Carrigan, sister Karen Lynn Crawford and husband Roy, brothers Larry Gene Carrigan, and David Carrigan, loving girlfriend Julie Diane White and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

He is preceded in death by his father Howard Eugene Carrigan in 2005.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with David Carrigan, Chester Adams, Roy Crawford, Ryan Carrigan, Derrick Carrigan, Jeff Carrigan, and Brandon Adams serving as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas.
