Ruby Maudine Ledbetter passed away in her home April 24, 2020 while surrounded by her loving family.  She was born to Reuben and Mattie Khun Greenwood April 14, 1929 in Hickory Creek Community in Hunt County.

Ruby graduated from high school in Hunt County, and married Ollie Ledbetter in Celeste.  They had two daughters.  She was active and enjoyed square dancing with Ollie, shopping with her silly friend, and gardening, especially growing flowers.  She worked at the Haggar pants manufacturing plant in Greenville when she was younger.

Ruby is survived by her daughters: Karen Marriott and husband Eddie of Paris, and Judy Perez and husband Manuel of Greenville, five grandsons: Brian Marriott and wife Shelly, Mark Marriott, Chad Marriott and wife Bonnie, Dustin Stanphill and wife Tammy, and Kyle Stanphill and wife Tina.  She is also survived by her two brothers: Bill Greenwood and Jimmy Greenwood, and her sister Lurlene Owens along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson Jeff Stanphill.  There will be a memorial service at Park Street Baptist Church in Greenvile at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, May 9, 2020 to be conducted by Brother Johnny Hailes.  Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
