Sue L Byars was born on November 24, 1925 to Eugene Small and Susie Cassie Hollingsworth Taylor in Hurst Springs, Texas. She married Billy Joe Byars January 12, 1967 in Dallas. She was a housewife and mother to three children, daughter Renee Staley and sons, Jimmy and Danny Seals.

She is survived by her husband, Billy Joe Byars, daughter Renee Staley and husband Greg, son Jim Seals and wife Ruby Jean, sister: Harriet and her husband Reverend Barton Carter. Grandchildren: Jimmy, Jeremy, Joshua, Sutherland, Jesse, Holly Mae, Juliet and Katy. Great-grandchildren: Charles, Emma Sue, Elsie May, Luca, Ruby True, Abigail, Megan, Zachary, Katherine and Robert and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

The family was looking forward to celebrating her 90th birthday on November 24.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons Danny Seals and Robbie Don Seals, brothers and sisters.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas from 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery with Sutherland Seals, Joshua Seals, Jay Seals, Jimmy Seals, Jesse Seals, Charles Seals, Jared May, and Steve Baker serving as pallbearers.
