Thelma Goin passed away at Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville, Texas on August 18, 2017. She was born to Frank Edward and Thelma Gill Dulaney September 22, 1924 in Paris, Texas. She married Billy Leon Goin February 1, 1946 in Garland. She was a loving mother and active member of the Church of Christ. She worked for Sanger Harris and the Dr. Pepper company in Dallas.
She is survived by her son Billy Goin Jr of Wolfe City, daughter Rita and husband Johnny Dodson of Wolfe City, grandson Ryan Macon and wife Stephanie of Sherman, sister Ruth and husband H. L. McGee of Tyler, and brother Frank (Bud) Dulaney Jr and wife Shirley of Malakoff, great- grandchildren Aria, Kailin, Wyatt, Keira and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Billy Goin, one daughter Linda Goin Carden, and a sister Noreen Jones.

The funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Sunday August 20, 2017 at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at Owens Chapel.
