February 8, 1930 – April 5, 2016 William F. Lowry, 86, of Bells, Tx. passed away on Tuesday, April 5th in the Clyde Cosper Unit of the Texas State Veterans Hospital in Bonham. Mr. Lowry was born on Feb. 8, 1930 in the Whiterock Community of Hunt County to James DeeFee Lowry and Nette Byrd Lowry. He married Frankie Harris on Feb. 16, 1957. He was retired from Raytheon and was a General Supervisor. Mr. Lowry was a veteran of the United States Air Force and member of the Morton Street Church of Christ in Denison, Tx.
Survivors are his wife of Bells, Tx. One son, William F. Lowry II and wife Cheryl of the Whiterock Community in Hunt County. One Daughter, Alesa Lowry and companion Mark Dubose of Denison. Seven Grandchildren;Trey Lowry and wife Krystal, Chris Kelly and fiancé Natalie Pharr, J.T. Kelly and wife Keeley, Kristen Kelly, Justin Kelly, Keith Blue and wife Kim, Lindsey Suits and husband Joel. Five Great Grandchildren, Landon Kelly and Dakota Kelly, Gage Blue, Dane Suits, Ellis Suits and a sister Nita Reisor. Mr. Lowry was preceded in death by his parents, a brother James D. Lowry, Jr. and Brother-in-law Bill Reisor.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, April 9th at 2:00 p.m. at the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Chapel with Howard Horton officiating. Visitation will Be one hour before the service, 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Webb Hill Cemetery near Wolfe City with Military Honors provided by the Hunt County Honor Guard.
Pallbearers will be Trey Lowry, Chris Kelly, J.T. Kelly, Kristen Kelly, Justin Kelly, Mark Dubose.
