July 23, 1933 –  February 19, 2016 Winnie Faye Lumpkin, 82, of Wolfe City passed away Friday, Feb. 19 at her residence. Mrs. Lumpkin was born on July 23, 1933 to Sam H. and Eliza Phillips Daniel in Wolfe City. She married Allie Ray Lumpkin on Jan. 18, 1957 in Wolfe City, Texas. Mrs. Lumpkin was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City and member of Order of Eastern Star Chapter 1129. Winnie worked for 31 years at the Wolfe City National Bank, was manager of the Wolfe City Housing Authority and a Shaklee Distributor for 40 years.
Survivors are her husband, Ray Lumpkin, of Wolfe City, one son; Bradley Ray Lumpkin and wife Kathleen of Wolfe City; a Grandson, Hagen Lumpkin of Bentonville, Ark., a brother Billy James Daniel and wife Maggie of Wolfe
City.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral Services will be 2:00 P.M., Monday, Feb. 22 at the First Baptist Church in Wolfe City with Bro. Ken Ballard officiating, Burial will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday evening at the R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home. Pallbearers will be Jerome Tucker, Mark Malone, Bobby Wisdom, Billy Pier, Clay Henslee and Mike Doyle.
