February 17, 1925 –  March 19, 2011 Minnie Addyleen Stanford, 86, of Irving and a former longtime resident of Commerce died March 19, 2011, at Heartstone Hospice Center in Irving. A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City under the direction of R.W. Owens Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.
Daughter of Jason Edgar and Fannie L. Foster Moore, she was born Feb. 17, 1925, in rural Delta County. On Nov. 7, 1943, she married Thomas Clarence “T.C.” Stanford Jr. She was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church in Commerce.

Surviving are two sons, Tommy Stanford of Dallas and Derreck Stanford of Belton; three grandchildren, Thomas Stanford and Rachael Mendoza, both of Dallas, and Brandi Reilly of Irving; five great-grandchildren, Jacob Mendoza, Bethany Reilly, David Stanford, Grabella Mendoza and Mick Stanford; and one sister-in-law, Marie Little of Greenville.

Her parents and her husband preceded in death.
