Allie Marettia Ethridge age 80 of Collinsville, Texas died on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the Texoma Medical Center in Denison, Texas. She was born on August 3, 1932 in Wolfe City, Texas to Joe and Myrtle Lee O’Neal Forbes. She married Bobby Dearld Ethridge on August 8, 1950 in Celeste, Texas

Mrs. Ethridge was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include Jimmy Ethridge and wife, Kathy, of Whitesboro; a daughter, Sue Ann Thurston of Sherman; one granddaughter, Beth Ann Thurston; two grandsons, Derek Ethridge and wife, Kendra; of Whitesboro, Joshua Thurston and wife, Nicole of Cove, Ark.; seven great-grandchildren, Jordan Thurston, Ryan Thurston and Shelby Thurston, all of Sherman, Paytyn Ethridge of Whitesboro, Alison Thurston, Jack Thurston and Katie Thurston, all of Cove, Ark.

Services will be at 2:00 P.M., Friday, May 10, 2013, at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home chapel, with Bro. Wendyl Glenn officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Wolfe City, Texas. The Family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service Friday morning.
