Cecil Scruggs, 87, of Gober, Texas passed away Friday, May 24, 2013 at his residence. Mr. Scruggs was born on May 14, 1926 in Tupelo, Mississippi. He moved to Texas in 1952 and worked as a machinist, after retirement he enjoyed farming in the Gober community.

Mr. Scruggs is survived by 2 nephews; J.W. Holder of Sherman, Mississippi and Walter Raymond Holder of Tupelo, Mississippi. Also, a niece, Ann Holder and a brother-in-law, Jerry Overton of Gober, Tx.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, May 28, 2013 at 10:30 in the morning in the Gober Cemetery, Gober, Texas.
