July 4, 1959 –  April 12, 2017 Charles Alan Wasson, age 57, passed away Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at his residence in Irving. He was born to Charles Emerson and Theresa Ann Walters Wasson on July 4, 1959, in Greenville. He worked as a security guard. He was a member of the Honey Creek Baptist Church and graduated in the Wolfe City High School class of 1978.
He is survived by his mother Ann Wasson, sister Cathy Caldwell, niece Melissa Malone, nephews Brandon Woodruff and Greg Caldwell, aunt Elaine Gunnels of Tyler and Midge and husband Eddie Wood of Mesquite, and uncle James Wasson of Longview. He was preceded in death by his father Charles E Wasson in 2001.

There will be a reception for family and friends after the service at the home of Melissa Malone, 608 S. Mill St. in Wolfe City.

A memorial service will be at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with visitation one hour prior to the service at 1:00 P.M.
