Gary Belcher, 70, of Fort Worth, passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, at his home.
A service will be conducted by Larry May, will be held at 12:30 P. M. Friday, January 21, 2022, at Owens Funeral Home at 200 S Santa Fe, Wolfe City, Texas 75496. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
Gary was born May 24, 1951, to Talmadge Lester and Ruth Naomi Vincent Belcher in Knox City. On February 27, 1970, he married Janet Williams in Euless. He was a member of Beacon Baptist Church in Haltom City.
He enjoyed going to the lake, camping, riding motorcycles, classic cars, buying and selling them with his son and just doing anything with his family and friends. He also enjoyed carpentry and building custom homes.
He is survived by his wife, Janet Williams Belcher of Fort Worth; daughter, Cerrie and husband, Matt Bradshaw; son, Jason Belcher and fiancé, Tammie Mayer; grandchildren, Sydney Belcher, Will Bradshaw, Kailey Bradshaw, Finley Belcher; siblings, Kay and husband Michael Lamb; Anglia and husband, Tony Wood; several nieces and nephews and numerous good friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
So sorry for your loss. Gary bought plumbing supplies from me. We had some great visits over the years. Always enjoyed talking to him. He was a super nice guy.

Gary had a huge loving & caring heart. He helped those in need, in any way he could, food, a ride, etc.
I pray Janet & his children & grandchildren will find solace knowing Gary suffers no more. Gary is in his heavenly home, where he will live eternally.
Gary will be missed by me , he was a great friend to me especially since I lost my wife . We spent so many days together and laughed and talked about our final place with golden street and I know he is in that place now.
Gary will be deeply lost from our lives. He was a short time friend and mentor to us. A delicately member and deacon of his Church . His skills as a home contractor can be seen in every space of the Church. Thank you dear friend for the kind and helpful counseling you have given me over the years. Your will be deeply missed. Praying for the family during these time’s.
Gary was my big brother even though he was 17 years older than me he was there for me and my kids taking them to church with him he was there for their birth and watching them grow into adults we always had fun at cedar creek lake loved to do the same things pretty much liked motorcycles nice cars I will miss seeing him around town and yes those darn curbs do move on us Gary I am saddened you are gone you were loved by Cerrie And Jason so much and your grandkids and of course Janet . Will miss hearing my kids say I seen uncle Gary today my family will miss their uncle and I will miss my one and only big brother Rest In Peace Gary I love you Anglia your baby sister.
