Jeffrey Michael D’Amico passed away on November 28, 2024, at his home in Celeste, Texas at the age of 50. He was born on March 5, 1974, in Dallas, Texas to parents Donald Michael “Mike” D’Amico and Martha Jane “Marty” (Cunningham) D’Amico.
Jeffrey married Jamie (Smith) on May 14, 2011, in Royse City, Texas.
He enjoyed gardening and spending time with his wife, children, grandchildren and other family. Above all else, Jeff treasured his role as a father. His love for his children was boundless and evident in every aspect of his life. Whether cheering them on from the sidelines, sharing heartfelt advice, or simply sitting with them in quiet moments, his children were his greatest joy and proudest accomplishment. The grandkids were the cherry on top to his love and devotion for others. Jeff devoted countless years of his life to educating and mentoring students and athletes. As a teacher and a beloved coach, he was a solid confidant for those seeking knowledge, confidence, and the courage to achieve their best. When they were at their best, Coach D’Amico was at his best as well.
Jeffrey is survived by his wife Jamie D’Amico and children, Hannah Clinton and her husband Morgan, Allyson D’Amico, Jordan D’Amico, Cooper D’Amico, and Emily D’Amico. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Isla Clinton, and Lee Clinton. Jeffreys parents, Mike D’Amico and his wife Linda and mother Marty D’Amico and stepfather Dave Chambers. Sibling, Sister Michelle D’Amico and her husband Richard Byrd. Nieces and nephews Kyra, Kaven and Krayton Byrd.
Jeffrey is preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents.
Sending love and prayers to Jamie Nell and family.
Jamie, we send our love and prayers to you and your precious family..❤️
Jeff was a good friend
Twice he accepted me in his home
The second time was when I got out of the army
We became friends in high school and he quickly became one of the guys that took me in
The best was when I got to witness him get baptized a few years back
Rest in Peace my brother
We had a lot of good times. You’re going to be missed friend.
Love and prayers to his wife and children and family Jeff was my
childhood friend may he rest in peace
Rest in peace Jeff
Love you brother
God gained a great man, husband, father, coach and friend. God bless all of you.
Jeff was the most loving nephew, dad and husband. I didn’t know him as a teacher but I bet he rocked that too. His gardening skills, which he excelled in, he inherited from his Uncle Billy. You are missed already, until I see you again I’ll hold you in my heart.
Gone way too soon. My condolences to his wife and family.
Coach D’Amico made a big impact on the lives of each of my children and will be sorely missed by all who appreciate and love him. Jamie, thank you for sharing your husband with the Celeste community and students. Please know you are in our prayers daily.
With love,
The Ford Family

Many prayers to you, Jamie—and to your children, grandchildren, and Jeff’s parents. Jeff had such a kind heart and loved you all dearly. I will never forget you talking about how you knew you could never go wrong when buying him a shirt as long as it was blue or gray. That was definitely his personality, simple and consistent. I will be thinking about you all in the tough days ahead.
My condolences,
Janet Samples
All my love. You made my life full. You will always be in my heart. Love Mom.
