Judy Hampton, 80, of Commerce, passed away Wednesday, June 22, 2023, at the Hunt Regional Medical Center of Greenville. 

The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday June 24, 2023, at the Commerce Church of Christ with Preacher Jimitri Green officiating. 

Judy was born February 20, 1943, in Deport, Texas to Houston Lawson Jones and Alma Loretta Pugh Jones. Judy is a graduate of Commerce High School and a member of the Commerce Church of Christ. She married Jimmy Sullivan on March 5, 1961. Together they raised two daughters, Denise Sullivan Stotts and Vicky Sullivan Nichols. Later, in July of 1997, she married Jay Hampton. 

She is survived by one sister, Gale Yancey (Bob); Daughters, Denise Stotts (Jeff) and Vicky Nichols (Phil); Grandchildren, Chris Nichols (Krissy), Micah Nichols (Stephanie), Kayle Stotts (Aimee), Hannah Stotts and Zach Nichols; Great-Grandchildren, Kimberly Nichols, Lily Nichols, Eagan Stotts, Carly Nichols, Quinn Stotts, Hudson Nichols, Adaleigh Nichols and Benjamin Stotts. 

Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Houston and Alma Jones, sister, Betty McKenzie, first husband, Jimmy Sullivan and her second husband, Jay Hampton.
