Margie M. Duquette, 86, of Wolfe City passed away Tuesday, June 27 in Hunt Regional Medical Center in Greenville. Mrs. Duquette was born on July 11, 1930 in Ladonia, to A. E. and Mary Evans, she married Leroy A. Duquette in Bonham. Mrs. Duquette was retired from Ennis Tag & Label where she worked in sales.
She is survived by two sons; Donald W. Duquette and wife Dorita of Wolfe City and Joel L. Duquette and wife Pamela of Greenville. 3-sisters; Joyce Luckey of Wolfe City, Geneva Freudenberg of Wolfe City and Eva Bright of Clarendon, Tx. One Brother, David Evans of Walla Walla, Wa. 4-Grandchildren; April McDaniel, Christi Escobedo, Courtney Blyth and Warren Duquette. 5-Great Grandchildren; Adam Escobedo, Hannah Escobedo, Millie Escobedo, Tres Escobedo and Vanion Blyth. Mrs. Duquette was preceded in death by her husband LeRoy Duquette; a son, Roger Duquette and a daughter, Deborah Duquette; her parents, A. E. and Mary Evans; 2-brothers, A. E. “Doc” Evans and J. C. Evans and one sister Ailene McAfee.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, July 1st at Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City conducted by Bro. Larry Morris. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM prior to the service.
