Marilyn Yvonne Woodruff age 78 of Wolfe City, Texas died on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at her home. She was born on June 2, 1935 in Floydada, Texas to Gains & Jewel Canady Grubbs. She married Kenneth E. Woodruff in Borger, Texas on September 12, 1952.

Mrs. Woodruff attended the Assembly of God Church and was formally the Wolfe City, City Secretary. She enjoyed her job as an Accountant, and was a member of the Wolfe City Book Club and Friends of the Library. She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her two sons Richard E. Woodruff and wife Lynn of Mesquite, and Grady Mark Woodruff of Wolfe City, four grandchildren; Jason Woodruff, Dustin Hollowell, Justin Woodruff, and Kendra Woodruff, six great-grandchildren Courtnie Woodruff, Katie Woodruff, Abbie Woodruff, Dale Jackson, Skylar Woodruff, Josephine Mae Hollowell, brother Sam Grubbs and wife Joyce of Wolfe City, sister Barbara Cupp of Lavon, and several nieces and nephews and relatives and friends

She is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Woodruff, son Billy Woodruff and both parents.

Visitation will be held on Friday, November 29, 2013 from 6:00 till 8:00 P.M. at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A. M. Saturday, November 30, 2013 at R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Hobbs officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City.
