Nina Faye Monroe Wisdom, 93, of Wolfe City, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, in Atlanta, Texas.

Born on April 20, 1932, in Winnsboro, Texas, Nina Faye was the daughter of Louie Monroe and Elizabeth Catherine Phillips Monroe. Nina Faye was a 1949 graduate of Wolfe City High School and went on to a career in banking before retiring from Henington Publishing Company in Wolfe City.

Nina Faye married her forever sweetheart, Paul Richard Wisdom, on New Year’s Eve of 1951. She was a devoted U. S. Army wife, living on bases in Japan, Germany and the United States. Both Nina Faye and Richard were faithful members of Wolfe City Church of Christ. They will both be dearly remembered for their love and devotion to their sons James Richard “Rick” Wisdom (Debbie), who predeceased Nina Faye on November 12, 2025, and Louie Mark Wisdom (Susan) of Glen Rose, Texas, and their grandchildren Brin Wisdom Nichols, Richard Wisdom, Dr. Jeremiah Wisdom, Rev. Paul “Sam” Wisdom, Maryanna Wisdom Roberts, Sara Wisdom, Hanna Wisdom, and John Wisdom.

Nina was predeceased by her beloved husband, her son Rick, her parents, and her siblings Charles “Dwayne” Monroe, Louie Gene Monroe, and Treva Monroe Wallace. She is survived by her son, Louie Mark Wisdom and wife, Susan, daughter-in-law Debbie Wisdom, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sister-in-law Jean Monroe, and cherished family members and faithful friends.

Graveside services for Nina Faye Wisdom will be held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, November 30, 2025, at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Wolfe City, Texas, under the direction of R. W. Owens & Son Funeral Home.
