June 14, 1960 –  May 14, 2013 Avants,Rhonda Lynn Avants age 52 of Imperial Beach, California died on Tuesday, May 14, 2013. She was born on June 14, 1960 in Durant, Oklahoma to Franklin Boone and Lillie LaVerne Avants.

Rhonda was a member of the Quinlan Church of Christ, and a 1976 graduate of Quinlan High School. She later attended Eastfield College in Mesquite. She was a loving grandmother and was always happy. Rhonda enjoyed playing Bingo with her friends. She often spent time on her home computer contacting her family and friends.

She is survived by her parents Lillie Laverne and B. J. Fedrick of Wolfe City, Texas, son Robert Eric Poe of Navasota, Texas, daughter Tarna Wright and husband Craig of Addison, three grandchildren; Kris Poe of Wolfe City, Amanda and Nathan Wright of Dallas, Texas; five sisters; Wanda Murrey, Teresa Petty, Karen Milton, Gail Swyer, Angie Vaughn, aunts and uncles; Terry and Brenda Williams, Bob and Sue Williams, Jimmy and Elaina Avants, Edgar and Ruth Ann Avants, and Carolyn Hammond. Special friend and companion Oscar Garcia of Imperial Beach, California.

She is precced in death by her father Franklin Boone Avants, both sets of grandparents LaVada and Lee Williams and Mattie Lou and Frank Avants

A private family service will be held at a later date.
