Vickie Diane Shipp age 61 of Seven Points, Texas passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 in Greenville, Texas. She was born on August 1, 1955 in Dallas, Texas to Tommy and Martha Prater. She married Hershell Shipp on March 15, 1983.

Mrs. Shipp was a housewife and stay at home mom. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 33 years Hershell Shipp of Seven Points, daughter Crystal D. Dodson and husband Adam of Wolfe City, son Jeffery T. Shipp of Seven Points, five grandchildren; Keith Dodson, Kaylee Dodson, Eric Dodson, Ella Dodson, Connor Shipp, two brothers; Richard Prater and wife Robin, Larry Prater and wife Leeann.

She was preceded in death by her parents’, sister Marie Wise, brother Darrel Prater and granddaughter Avalee Diane Dodson.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at R.W. Owens & Son Funeral Home in Wolfe City, Texas with Casey Stone officiating. A private family burial will be held later at Webb Hill Cemetery.
