Mr. Darryl Jay "J" Warnock

Darryl Jay “J” Warnock, age 63, passed away at his home in Wolfe City, Texas, August 13, 2026.  He was born to Dan Shields and Nancy K Warnock in Decatur, GA.

J worked as a rancher.  He married Susan M Young in Chipley, Florida.  They have one daughter, Jessica “Jessie” Warnock.

J is survived by his wife of 23 years, Susan Warnock, Daughter, Jessie Warnock, brother Alan Warnock and his wife Debbie and parents, Dan & Nancy Warnock.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2026, at 11:00AM at The River Church at Valley Brook in Decatur, Georgia. Interment will follow at Peachtree Memorial Park in Norcross, Georgia.
